Educated at Idaho’s Boise State University, Corky Rockwell has worked in the nursing industry for almost 30 years. Corky Rockwell has held a number of high-responsibility roles at organizations like HFS Consulting in Oakland and The Heritage in San Francisco. At HFS Consulting, Corky Rockwell received positive performance evaluations in her role as a Senior Consultant. Corky Rockwell consistently met and exceeded the expectations associated with her position. At The Heritage, one of San Francisco’s oldest life care retirement communities, Corky Rockwell served as Director of Nursing. Corky Rockwell ensured that The Heritage ran in accordance with all Title 22 regulations, managing a dedicated nursing staff and also writing policy. Corky participated in committees at The Heritage and also introduced a new RNA program, improving therapy available at the facility.
At the moment, Corky Rockwell resides in Sacramento, though she takes the opportunity to travel whenever possible. In recent years, Corky Rockwell went rafting in Idaho and traveled all the way to China in 2008. Corky Rockwell visited a number of the country’s most historic sites, including the Great Wall. In her spare time Cory Rockwell feeds her mind and imagination with literature. J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series, Mitch Albom’s Tuesdays with Morrie, and Alan N. Watt’s The Way of Zen represent only a few of Corky Rockwell’s most admired books.
